PRE-NURSERY/NURSERY SCHOOL
THE FOUNDATION OF LEADERSHIP
In nursery School, we seek to help children develop self-esteem and lifetime learning skills in a safe, supportive, and diverse environment. A lively and tailored primary-preparatory curriculum concentrating on the development of the intellect as a whole ensures each student's personal achievement.

Pre-Nursery/Nursery School Experience
The classroom instructor teaches the fundamental curriculum. Specialized staff also teach students international languages, art, music, physical education, and library skills.
To guarantee that all students are pushed at their own levels of accomplishment and are not bored, our Nursery School instructors employ a variety of educational methodologies such as differentiation of instruction and teaching on the gifted model. Throughout the school, character education is taught and encouraged. There is a separate room with supervised activities for all Nursery School pupils who arrive early until the start of school.

Academics and Curriculum

Academics and Curriculum
A team of Nursery School instructors teach the basic curriculum, with assistance from our Student Success Team. Students also receive specialized teaching in French, Art, Music, Physical Education, Personal and Social Development, and Numeracy.
Instructional differentiation ensures that all students are challenged at the right levels. We use a workshop approach of instruction to ensure that each child is challenged and interested in their learning. This implies that children are taught in a variety of ways, including mixed ability groups, interest-based learning, project-based learning, individualized activities, hands-on learning, and choice boards. These services are decided upon through a process involving teachers, parents, and the Division Head.
MercyGold’s approach to learning is pragmatic and adaptable. This is evident not just in our workshop-style curriculum delivery, but also in the classroom structure and seating.

“Ideally, it is well known that the primary role of the school/education is to bring each student to her individual, maximum academic potential.
As school is the second environment in which a child grows and prepares for their future life. MercyGold school, has built my children’s basics and foundation in the area of education.
This school also played an important role in helping my children learn to interact positively with their peers and teachers developed them further through interactions, both in the classroom and at home.
My children always love attending school and never misses out on anything.
Further, it is my children’s second home also because they have their friends there who are nothing less than family to them too. Thus, they make their school life easier and full of joy.
It is nice to have my children attending your school.
God bless the MercyGold.
God bless Nigeria.”
